There's a foundation of lemon and powdered shells upon which lime, orange, white grape, unripe melon, concrete, and a touch of spice come out to play. Vibrant throughout, with a bright entry and a deep stony finish tinged with brine. Equally good or better on day 2.

Starts out with an exquisite nose, some obvious crushed fruit, but other interesting savory notes, even a touch of matchstick, then a richly flavored palate, with plenty of depth, excellent acidity, accompanied by a good dose of saline umami, turning somewhat mineral on the lengthy finish. One of the better young Cali Chards I can remember drinking.
Finishing the bottle 24 hours later: man this is good, if anything, more open and flavorful, beautifully balanced, acidity, mineral, flavor intensity, it’s all here.

Nicely balanced with great acidity. More angular than round. Very enjoyable bottle with cedar plank salmon. Nice finish. Not on the creamy style. Plenty of life left.
