Dark purple color with moderate clearing at rim Medium plus aromas of plum/ blueberry with light tobacco notes Medium palate of red and blue fruit - lacking on secondary notes and midpalate seems quite thin Medium plus to high acidity with medium tannins and medium alcohol Primarily fruit driven wine with little complexity but remains enjoyable Lacking midpalate and appears a bit disjointed due to this but did improve with 1-2 days in the bottle Would recommend a decant due to fairly large amount of sediment in bottle

Minimal floral nose. While not especially familiar with the Cesar grape, it appears to have a fruity, chalky and acidic nature. Interesting but not to my taste.

Thanks all prior tasters for excellent descriptions. Double aerated this and are experiencing no rough edges. Nice acids and tannins. A bit short on body - otherwise would say structurally similar to a good Dolcetto of comparable age. Likewise will give bottles 2 & 3 a couple cellar years to see what happens. But for the price will get more if this comes around again.
