Juicy, mouth-filling, and delicious, nice light red fruit, some light herbal notes and a peppery finish; some sense of the component parts and yet melded together nicely. Likely to appeal widely and enough complexity for the nerds. 90+

25 USD? This is a steal! Super pleasant and paired well with the heavy Chinese home cooking of Hakka abacus and Curry chicken too.
Plums and then ripe blackberries on the palate, with a short to medium finish. Some cassis and chocolate on the mid palate, leading to a good mouthfeel with rounded tannins too.
The winemakers at Torbreck's Barossa Valley facility have expertly blended 55% Grenache, 24% Shiraz and 21% Mourvèdre off old Barossa Valley vines, and then matured this in French oak for 12 months.

Screw cap. This blend of 59% Grenache, 22% Mourvèdre, and 19% Syrah has a lovely, fragrant, intense nose of ripe raspberry and black cherry with underlying savoury, meaty, and wet earth aromas, plus with some black pepper spice and dried herb adding further complexity. The medium-full bodied is also quite ripe with more raspberry, black cherry, meaty, wet earth, and black pepper spice flavours. Acids are fresh, juicy, and well-balanced. Lightly structured tannins are smooth and refined. Savoury with smoky mineral notes linger on the long, lightly chalky textured finish.

Popped and poured. Red berry fruit, a bit of tea on the nose. The palate is dark fruited, round but drinking nicely. Decent everyday drinker.
