86% Cab with Bordeaux varietals. 10 months 25% new oak. Very promising nose showing lovely espresso, mocha, dried herbs, black fruits that are fresh. Palate matches with spot on Cabernet notes that give the right tones in a drink now style, not jammy, serious style but also approachable. Great value.

Really wanted to like it, but just couldn't. Too green, unripe and dissonant. Lacking in fruit, tannin, roudness and richness. Only thing it isn't short on is sourness. Lacking

Cru Wines Trade Tasting (Bentley Bar & Restaurant, Sydney): Red hued fruit is on par for what I expect from Victorian Cabernet, a little green note on the nose as well as a little cedar. Sour, ungenerous, unripe, unpleasant. Pretty awful.

Great value for money cool climate Yarra valley Cabernet. Very smooth and easy drinking wine. Tasted to me more like a red blend of European style rather than a straight Cabernet.
