  • A unique nose of white flowers, crushed black berries, fresh dill and sage with a touch of Moroccan spices. Palate is rich and echoed the nose. Almost full-bodied structure. Dense and lingering palate from entry to finish which is velvety and rounded. Drink this with an hour of decanting to smoothen the edges. For better harmony, another 3 more years of aging will be good. 92-93 pts.

  • Having a very special night with my New Lady. after wife passed 2 years ago. I could not hold of opening this beauty from the GREAT 2018 year in Pyrenees District . This is BPE best Wine by far and there signature Cabernet Sauvignon Richardson. Cork Closure is a surprise tho.
Just opened Deep Opaque Black in colour with that youthful purple rim at October 2021. excellent super colour as expected.
Wow factor here , just after on WIFF, tell you something very special , with super ripe Black fruits of Blueberries and Currants and that lovely sweet NEW FRENCH OAK with makes it most exciting. Very Californian Reserve Cab in style for certain and what i was hoping. Excellent and very young for certain , just let the oak integrate and watch this beauty develop.
On the palate we have sweetness of ripe fruit flavours similar to above upfront with nice complexity , as expected with medium bodied mid palate richness and nice sweet long oily tannins giving nice long finish . V/Nice wine indeed and still young , i do understand now why they went with Cork to give more faster development . QPR $50 about right
Perfect with rare Filet steaks too
