Just like some earlier bottles of this wine. I must admit that I have a bias towards the style of PNs that Freeman produces. This one is drinking well right now.

Crowd pleaser at a restaurant. Opened for 30 minutes plus. Unlike a bottle from almost a year ago, it drank well from the start. The earlier bottle took a long time to open up.

Probably should have decanted as, surprisingly, there was some sediment found in several glasses of this wine; no harm done.
Nice red color. Wonderful fruit notes or red berries – think red raspberry along with red plum - a bit of the flowers plus a cellar-like smell that could reflect their restrained use of oak. Ends with touches red apple and cherries. Very pretty and elegant. A wonderful example of Sonoma Coast PN.
(Served with simple homemade ham and white bean soup. A perfect combo.)

Last bottle. This is a very good PN, even by Freeman standards. It is a deep, dark PN, which is my favorites.

Similar to prior Freeman offerings. A PN on the darker in. It was very good, but needed to be opened for a while.....at least 30 minutes.
