I’ve been curious about this bottling sense release so finally decided to pull the trigger. Pretty much a pop and pour. Creamy, chocolate covered cherries. More soothing than zinny. It was okay. I’d say the drinking window is open for sure.

This has a nose of blackberries, Christmas potpourri and subtle flowers. Fine tannins that could use a year or more to resolve. I was expecting this to be a bit more distinctive, but it actually reminded me of a tighter vintage of the Guadagni zin. Still, a solid new entry in the Ridge lineup.

A Very nice Zinfandel; magical with Holiday spirit.

Plusher and denser than the typical house style, but a delicious new offering from Ridge.
