  • This bottle was very elegant compared to previous ones. More creamy, spicy red cherry and berry flavours and a bit softer on the finish.

    Decanted for 90 minutes.

  • Barely translucent dark ruby color. Nose of fresh cherry blossom, soaring violets, high-pitched leather notes, deep earth. Layers of pure red cherry fruit, dried fruit, tobacco, and hints of saline on the ebullient palate. Fresh acidity and firm, dusty tannin drowned by fruit. Long finish of ringing red cherry girded by earthy tones, grit, and leather. Superb.

  • Darkish red. Lots of earthy black raspberry, mint and cherry in the nose. The flavours are outpacing the nose right now. Textured earthy cherry and spice flavours and a dry berry pleasurable tannic finish.

    Love this. Starting to develop.

  • Sweet black cherry, currant, violet, sage, cinnamon, licorice, and leather, with the florals dominating at the moment. Substantial tannins, with a suede like texture, but also a lovely drive to the palate thanks to excellent acidity and plentiful sweet red berry fruit. Floral finish. Drinks very well at the moment, but will keep until 2030. Pretty.
