There is a reason this is a house favorite! Dark berry red, strawberries and currants on the nose, medium-bodied, completely harmonious, and a lingering finish.

Delicious ripe red cherries, minerals, and floral notes on the open nose and smooth palate with soft tannins and acidity on the moderate finish. Drinking well young!

A week ago I had their regular Beaujolais. Let's see if this Cuvee Tardive is any better. 🕐⏰🕤 2 hours in decanter. First of all it's 14% against 13% ABV. Second - I paid the same, ridiculous price - 15.44 €. Third - the same vintage. Fourth - I don't pay to much attention to wine color but in this case color is very dark, almost purple, somehow unusual for Beaujolais. But - smell and taste is very typical and classical for Beaujolais. Raspberry, strawberry, red cherry both in smell and taste. What else Smell - sweet aromas of black cherry, black coffee ( wow), black chocolate ( super surprise), violet ( double super surprise). Taste - red fruits I mentioned above are sweet and juicy. In addition - delicious orange flavors and herbs. Finish - ok. People complained about too much acidity, tannins and spice. I will do - opposite opinion. Not enough spice (especially in finish). Tannins and acidity are soft and well integrated. Vinous - 94 RP - 93
