Great nose upon opening, with some earthy mineral tones, along with citrus and a bit of cantaloupe. Was slightly creamy on the palate, but with some firm underlying acidity that lasted all the way thru the finish. Mango and slate notes were noticeable as well. A very interesting and delicious wine!

Leads with mineral and preserved lemon with chalky, limey, and flinty notes at the margin, with a nice saline undercurrent. A little simpler on the back half - lost some grip on day 2 as this note is being written compared to day 1. Not heavy or buttery in the slightest. Apparently I had a prior vintage while working from home during the pandemic (curiously no TN! lol) but this bottle proves that this is a worthy addition to the Rhys Chardonnay stable. 92-94.

This is super. Honeysuckle and citrus. Medium bodied. Intense acid and minerality. On the palate it’s citrus, grapefruit. Not as rich as some of the other bottlings (in a good way for tonight). Love it.

Good on night one, excellent on night two. Will wait another year or so before opening another bottle. Vibrant fruit with tingly acidity to keep it in balance. Well done. It's a good example of why Rhys is so well regarded for quality.

Really delicious - a balance of freshness and citrus and concentration - halfway between burgundy and the Russian river valley - love it
