*Drank side by side against 2019 Purlieu To Kalon*
Aromas of black fruit. Primarily tart mulberries on the palate with fairly grippy tannins. A slight hint of herbs and light leather. A bit too dry for my liking (i.e., unexpectedly dry for a To Kalon cab sauv).
Probably 4-5 points below the Purlieu, even being a 2018. A quality wine for sure, but certainly outshined.
