  HMC's wine for tonight. Not sure of the decant time. The legs tip you off to the alc content of 15.4% yet you really have to swirl and get your nose in the glass to pick up even a whiff of the alc. Dark purple in the glass, some graphite on the nose. I picked up the cab and merlot but not the cab franc on this one. It's a very nice blend. Mostly red fruited. Will be very interested to see how it does over another 2-3 years. I'm guessing there may be another 2 points in there? Seems like a great qpr for what he got it for.......

  Dark garnet in color. Nose restrained at first, but opened over a few hours. Medium body and legs. Very approachable now. Red fruits and cigar. Medium finish. Very good now. Should develop nicely. 94.
