Quality with Respect to Price: The 2019 Rhys Pinot Noir Horseshoe Vineyard is a premium wine, priced to reflect its quality and the meticulous attention to vineyard management and winemaking. It offers significant value for enthusiasts seeking a high-quality, expressive Pinot Noir with great aging potential.

Maturity with Respect to Ageing: While already delightful for its complexity and balance, this wine will continue to develop and integrate its flavors with additional aging, potentially improving over the next 5 to 10 years.

Food and Wine Pairing: Perfect with sophisticated dishes such as duck breast, roasted quail, or mushroom risotto. Its earthy and floral notes also make it a good match for dishes with truffle or herb-infused sauces.

  • This has a lot going for it. Gorgeous fruit, complexity, layers of flavor and a long finish. Easy to drink. Too easy, maybe. I wonder if it will shut down at some point

  • This was a beauty. Ultra-pure fruit redolent of vibrantly red maraschino cherries on a base of something darker and plummier. This is really high on the yum factor and also super-seductive. The texture is a silky caress.
