drank pre dinner...Bertolli thought it oxidized, so did Perry...I however felt it stll had a lush rich taste and while it had a bronzer color than other chards, the taste to me was great

Excellent Chardonnay. Honey, rock candy fresh flowers and a touch of vanilla. Very good with some savory/spicy dinner. Drank as a pseudo celebration for the Hallmark holiday on February 14th with my wife.

Started funky but that blew off. A bit jumbled and messy at the forepalate but had a terrific harmonious finish. I would have liked a bit more acidity and less oak/butter but the mid evolved nicely as the night went on.

Rich nose, with loads of butterscotch, mango and oak. Continues onto the palate, with a rich mouthfeel. Too much oak for me, but for those into the style, this is a decent butterball with more than average elegance. The age is good, just starting to get a little honey and some oxidative nuttiness, while keeping the fruit intact. The alcohol (14.1%) is a little over-the-top, but the burning is subtle. The acidity is enough to keep this from being flabby, but not enough to cut through the fat and the oak like a razor blade. Not bad. $25

Outstanding chardonnay. Great balance, no too fat for CA. Wish I had more.
