Raspberry, oak spice, tar and mineral notes too are all the aromas this presents up front. Nothing too aromatic, but subtly pleasant nonetheless. Black cherry, dark currant, dark raspberry fruit is the initial taste up front, then more subtle notes of clove, baking spices, and faint oak emerge on the medium long finish where more spiced ripe and sweet red fruits linger nicely. Peaking now, will hold through 2020. Bottle cellared in temp controlled cellar.
