Blind tasting at a friend’s party. I got it completely wrong, but it’s a tasty wine. Still some primary fruit left, but it’s muted. Very soft tannins. Sweet, and big alcohol still noticeable. Aged very well. Quite enjoyable.

Opened it about 1.5 hours before bringing to a BYO. Good fruit, big alcohol on the nose. Cherry,,cinnamon ,,nice soft but spicy finish, balanced tannins. Probably past peak, but still holding in there.

This was consumed over two days. Lots of bright red fruit on the nose and palate. Did not have to decant this, pop and pour, it was ready to go. Both nights the wine never faded (1-2 hrs in the glass), all the tannins have integrated and the finish was smooth with a little bit of body to it. I think this bottle is at it's peak, but I have no idea how long it will stay there. Should have bought more at the store clearance...oh well.

Strawberries and raspberries on the nose as well as the palate. The fruit is ripe and lush. The tannin soft but firm. A very pleasant and easy going wine with ok complexity. Ready now and probably at its peak, but no hurry either.
