Young but very promising. Upfront resiny dill and coconut from American oak... gave me Rioja vibes. The red cherry fruit didn't detract too much from that impression either. With air, the oak integrates and the cherry and blackcurrant flavors become more prominent. Body is medium, with a silky texture. Tannins are soft but present. Another subtle, red fruited wine deep in the Ridge style.

Wonderful wine. Agree it will age well for years and with the comparison to French wines. You all holding this wine will be well rewarded.
Medium bodied, delightful red and black fruit. Some acidity, Being from Michigan, I'm tasting some Traverse City cherries. Long finish - an elegant wine
Compared to many heavy CA cabs , the price point is off the charts,

Amazingly balanced, delicate & complex with a long, fruitful and strong finish. Just not quite rising to the strength of a perfect wine but it was perfect in the context of the night.

Day 1 was PnP, very closed (my bad!), Day 2 decanted 4+ hrs, way better and really showed its stuff.

Medium-bodied, fruit-focused wine. Not jammy or extracted, but slightly short in length.
