Color: garnet with bricking Nose: plum, earth, leather Taste: plum, stewed plums, leather, earth This is almost all secondary flavors with a bit of stewed plum upfront. Cough syrup on the finish which lingers long enough to enjoy with steak. Drink up! I don’t see this evolving in a good way.

After thirty minute decant this is in very good shape and not showing much age. The first thing you notice is how well the oak is integrated and for a Shiraz how “smooth” this is. Red fruits, cassis, lead pencil and spice. The body is medium to full bodied with a decent finish but there is a lack of a wow factor here.

Still fresh and always tasty. Violets and cherry really coming through.
