Very open and expressive red and black fruit. Wonderful balance and polished texture. Improved just a bit after a 3 hour decant.

Drank 2 bottles at Carbone NYC. Dark ruby color, nose not particularly expressive. Light to medium body, lots of black cherry fruit, perfect acidity level. Tannins are present but on the light side. Notes of tobacco and a tad of menthol. Long elegant finish. The quality of this wine typically speaks for itself, and this is no exception. However, at this juncture, the wine is closed and needs more bottle age to truly realize its potential. Must decant!
