  Nose here is intoxicating and one of those wines that stops you in your tracks. The palette doesn’t quite live up to he astoundingly complex nose, but is still remarkable. Fruit forward, but also loads of earth and floral notes. Good structure here suggests it’s built to age for the long haul, but still quite enjoyable today. Adding Ceritas to my list of preferred CA Pinot producers. This is quite nice.

  Medium weight, great poise - real curious to see where it is in 2-4 years, but very drinkable now.

  young light red color, sexy nose of ripe cherries and sweet venison, blackberry liqueur, on the palate floral and lightly spicy, dry finish, very pure, oak still a strong presence- but in its proper place, a lovely wine that just needs some time to flesh out and harmonize.

  We has a tasting this wine agains Chanin 2016 from Santa Maria Valley. Also a very fruity wine where you get sweet strawberries, rhubarb and ripe blue berries. We are getting medium tannins and acidity - both well integrated - like the Chanin wine this one is also very fresh - the wine is more structured than our Chanin wine. Also here we are not experiencing a lot of tertiary notes - but clearly a much longer aftertaste - and because of that we will give this wine 93 - one rating higher than the Chanin wine.

  Took just a few minutes to open but after that a mix of red and blue fruits, a little touch of earth and something slightly savory. Mid weight but still so juicy and fresh.
