Deep dark purple Burnt wood, sea water, vanilla on the nose
Note: It seems to have a heavy flavor of sea salt. My stepdaughter and I both thought this gave it a hint of oysters or snapper. This felt odd and reduced our enjoyment of this wine.
On the palate currant, plum, and vanilla. Medium acidity and peppery tannins.
It's not the best Syrah I've had. Probably wouldn't recommend it

GGs vs. 1er Cru Burgs (Bin 75 Alpharetta, GA): So black it absorbs the light in the room; inky, black fruit, cooked fruit, blackberry, very viscous, could see this as Barossa or Shafer Relentless in style.

nice dark red in color..altho I did not find this one as big as I expected more a Syrah of finest with occasional back bone served with grilled rib eye steaks
