Drank this for my mom's 80th birthday party. Decanted this 2 hours. Would and should have given this a longer decant but was busy setting up for the party. This powerful wine jumps out of the glass with notes of black currant, blackberries, cherry, and cocoa.
Being a 2018 this does have pretty big tannins which I don't mind. I agree wholeheartedly with Yackman that 2018 is a very tricky vintage and that this is drinking quite well right now for a 2018. I also think this will gain a point in another year or two.

A stunner. Big delicious cab. BlackBerry and cherry pop on the mostly black/blue fruit driven core. Touch of chocolate on the finish. Smooth even as a pop n pour. Enjoy!

Excellent wine with plenty of big fruit, energy and flavors. How much better will it get, who knows? I do know that I like the drinking window that it's in currently and there's plenty of life with this tricky vintage. 95 Points on day one.
Among the very few enjoyable 2018 Cabs that I’ve tasted (Lewis, Tor and Becklyn M/H) so far, yet still has greater potential here. Deep purple crimson color with a nose of a cotton candy/violets. On the palate, dark fruits: black cherry, blueberries, currants and hints of plum with coco dust with a lingering finish on the back end of the palate. So good for a 2018 where so many wines from 2018 started out really well only to back down and hibernate in my experience. 94+/ 95 Points. The only thing lacking with this Cab may have been depth, perhaps because it was a pop and pour and l didn’t give it enough air, we’ll see? There’s half a bottle remaining.
