Opened, poured a glass, and let sit for a bit. Glasvin Expressions stem. Purple ruby color. Nose offers dark fruit and earth notes. Black cherry intro showing a heavier and darker fruit profile. Some good lip-smacking acidity on the mid-palate. Has a heavy side to it. Some candied cherry notes on the finish.
Thoughts are this could benefit from a few more years of age.
13.6% abv. Branded cork with vintage and vineyard.

Finished rest of coravined bottle. Much better this time as the bitter finish was gone. Still far from my favorite Rhys but pretty decent this round. Still needs more time imho.

Coravin pour so no air time which I think this needed. Not my favorite Rhys as this seemed a bit heavier than expected. Tending to the darker pomegranate and even a bit of grapefruit bitterness in the finish. Still pretty decent but will give an hour decant for rest of bottle for final judgement.

Light ruby color. Expressive nose, with cherries and oak. It shows great acidity, a fruit driven palate that’s elegant and balanced with cherries and oak. Long ending, with some oak. Very nice new world Pinot Noir - truly enjoyable now.

A good wine. Drinking well, balanced like a low end burgundy.
