Claret version. Medium weight Merlot-Cab S- PV blend. 2nd bottle, so much better than the first. Earthy undertones, a but musty at first but that blew off fiarly quickly. Tasty, slightly sweet, slightly acidic, calls for some food.

This is the "Claret" version. Bordeaux style blend Merlot, Cab S and Petit Verdot. Major barnyard when opened. I like that to some extent, but this super stinky! Recorked. Next day, poured and aired out for an hour. Barnyard odors subsided substantially and wine flavor and structure could be evaluated. Structure is lean, a bit fruit is emerging, but not enough to overcome the odors. Drank with dinner but not exciting.

3rd bottle, exactly same as last one. Tasty, but over-mature secondary flavors detracting a bit. Drink up any remaining bottles.
