Color is deep ruby. Nose is clean with medium - intensity and smell very toast and sawdust to me right now. Sorry, I know that is not real pleasant but it is what I am getting from the wine. Maybe some rasin and currant in there as well. Hard to determine its development. Acid is medium -, tannin is medium -, body is medium, flavor intensity is medium -. Tannin creeps up on the back outlasting the flavor. The finish is medium to medium -. It might have been at good quality once but it doesn't show enough harmony right now for me. While it still shows evident fruit I think it is tired and past its best.

Great! Consistent with my previous tasting note, if not a touch better. This wine excels by deftly delivering both an exceptional balance of fruit and a balance between Rhone and New World style. Deep and dark garnet color. Still not much of an inspired nose here. Palate full of blackberries and pepper. Medium-long finish with more chocolate notes than I remember from the past. Continues to show good age since last tasting this vintage a year ago.

Nice dark color. Blackberry nose, with a little fake black raspberry that blew off after 30 minutes. Mostly lots of blackberry upfront, joined by some black cherry and modest tannins at the mid-point. More blackberry and a hint of black pepper on the moderate finish. A nice little fruit bomb for $9.99

Leigh likes. Drank after a bottle of Girard artistry. Not very tannic, some fruit. Pleasant, but not a knockout.
