Drinking very smoothly. Much better than the first bottle I opened 4 years ago. Integrated and smooth red fruit, some savoury/spice notes. In a great spot right now and probably will stay like this for a few years.

This was a new producer for me and I was not sure what to expect. I have a general rule that I will not obtain Brunello under $40 USD that I know nothing about as I feel like the quality has been diluted by the number of producers today. However--goes to show you don't ever know...
This punched well above the price point. Mushroom, meat and strawberry/cherry notes. Med-full bodied with smooth integrated tannins. Perfect pairing with veal cutlets with artichoke and champagne cream sauce. Bravo. Drink or hold.
