Cork disintegrated upon removal, was able to poke a hole in it and strain the wine through a screen. It was worth the effort. Smooth, well integrated fruit, raspberry and vanilla notes. Nice, long finish.

Like the earlier Pinots mentioned above, this was delightful, enjoyable drinking, bright ruby colored, medium full bodies, expressive black cherry and plum fruits with spicy notes of nutmeg, vanilla and sweet mocha with a smooth, almost elegant, balanced lingering finish.
Drank last night with a couple different selections from BG. This was the oldest of the selections and it was very obvious how much more smooth/round this was compared to the others (‘20 and ‘19). Everyone loved this but I attribute it more to the comparative age rather than the source of the grapes.

Big concentrated wine from Caymus, but it is in a good place now with smooth texture and integrated heavy fruit.
