Incredibly dark violet in color. Extremely smooth wine featuring blackberry, and subtle vanilla notes over a very long finish. The 15.9% ABV was not apparent. Paired with pork tenderloin marinated with lemon, thyme, garlic and parsley. The softness of this syrah blend made it a solid match.

Gorgeous, full-bodied Syrah blend, drinking beautifully at six years. Silky, balanced, elegant, with a stylish oak streak. Admirably hides its thermonuclear 15.9% ABV. A subtle Viognier-white wine softness at the end that’s really lovely. A big Paso Robles Rhone blend done extremely well. Well worth a hold, and glad I have another bottle. All estate, 50% Syrah 32% Graciano 10% Grenache 8% Viognier
A big, bold Rhone style blend, nothing Bordeaux about this unless you consider the Viognier qualifying (see comment below). A little alcohol burn on the nose; flavors of blackberry, licorice and leather. Strong tannins, moderate acidity, long smooth finish.

Young tasting, may improve with time. Black more than red fruit, Syrah notes predominate. Very unusual flavor mix with the mix of Rhone and Bordeaux styles from Stephan, the iconoclast. Acidity a bit overly done, but fun for a very original style and taste from this Bordelaise man turned Paso Roblesian.
