Best of the Occam's Razor series so far. The 2014 is just rockin'! I'm hoping the 2017 will get there wine some more years under its belt, but I just don't know. Black fruit, espresso bean and dark chocolate. Damn tasty! Drink now - 2024.

This wine has definitely evolved since my prior TN. Nice to have 2 bottles for a mini-vertical.
Crimson fading to ruby-rose; no brick red here. Rim variation consistent with age; excellent clarity. Legs are medium plus. Aromas are a mix of black and red fruit at first:black currant (cassis), red currant, raspberry, more prune than plum. Light toast, vanilla there but not pronounced. On the palate, vanilla strengthens and subtle eucalyptus is there. Medium plus body, smooth and polished texture. Medium plus finish, below medium acidity. Impression: Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant, but it seems Syrah and others are in the mix. Some complexity there and definitely well-balanced. At $22 with tax and shipping, QPR is average at best. Drink now or up to 2022.
