  • Retail $24 (375ml). 80% Semillon, 20% Sauvignon Blanc. Golden in the glass with luscious aromas of honey, nectarine, ripe tangerine, and hints of minerality. Whoa. The palate is lovely: sweet but balanced by glorious fruit, a hazelnut aspect, and plenty of tropical tartness. Yeah. Whoa. I have had several vintages of this wine now and this vintage rates right up there with the best I have tasted. While I am far from a Sweet Bordeaux expert (although willing to learn, naturally), this wine is phenomenal. thedrunkencyclist.com

  • From a 375 ml. Golden yellow in color. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of very ripe fruit aromas of yellow peaches, apricots & lychee with overtones of honey & floral notes of honeysuckle, orange rind, spices, minerals & a touch of vanilla. Full bodied with a very good concentration of balanced & smooth textured, unctuous, ripe fruit flavors of yellow peaches, dried apricots & golden raisins with spices, honey, almonds, minerals & vanilla. Long lingering sweet finish. Drinks quite well at present but should develop further with additional aging. An indicative blend of 80% Semillon, 20% Sauvignon Blanc.

  • From the Loupiacais countryside, this golden-glinting blend of 80% Semillon, 20% Sauvignon Blanc opens with subtle earthiness—blooming forest mushroom that blows off to reveal apricot, tangerine, nougatine, sultana, and warm spice. In the mouth glorious, glycerolly-unctuousness and shimmering depth on the palate, punctuated by bright acidity. Kumquat, almond paste, and baking spice emerge on the finish. One of the nicer stickies I've had from Loupiac. 12.5% ABV | Sample

  • Best wine of the day. 80/20 Sem/SB. A wow nose and more complex/developed than most with toffee, candied orange, a grapefruitty zing, raw cashew, toffee and above average acidity.
