Deep red color, slow and long legs, pleasant aroma of dark berries, balance with a bit of tannins on the finish. Taste of chocolate and herbs remain with you for a while so finish is medium to long.

For a $9 bottle of wine, an amazing QPR. Entirely happy with this bottle of "cheap" wine. Nice balance of tannins. Not too strong. Not too light. Very berry forward. A good bit of oak. Not much else, but very good middle of the road wine which goes with a lot of different meals.

Popped and poured. Fruit forward, soft tannins, easy to drink, a nice pairing with braised beef. A little more off-dry than I would prefer, but others like that style and it's not a fault.
Drank half of the bottle in one night and the rest the next night. On the second night, much of the fruit on the nose and palate had receded, and the wine tasted uncomfortably "hot" with food. Conclusion: A nice wine, but best if you drink it all in one sitting or else save the leftovers for cooking. I'd rate it 90 on first night but 84 on second; my 88 is a compromise.
