Brought to a restaurant; decanted for an hour. Slightly clouded dark red. Fine tannins, well integrated. More red-fruited than black or blue, an initial slight tartness. An excellent Red Mountain Cab in a perfect drinking window; will last for a coupla-three years. Recommended; also, a decent QPR, as its price points haven't moves much since release.

Restaurant purchase. Perhaps this needs a much longer decant but we gave it as much time as possible. It didn’t quite come around like I expected. It is dark garnet colored. While it has nice bright acidity, the fruit while more red than black is somewhat one dimensional. There are notes of cherry and and plum and maybe a little black raspberry. There are some light herbal and spice notes but nothing really evolved much over the 2 hours we drank it. I’ve had better from DeLille. Pleasant enough but not able to step up in depth and complexity.

Drinking well now, last of my 2014s, don’t think I’d wait any longer. Very smooth and round, deep flavors of cassis, not complex but with adequate minerality and acidity which reveal themselves on the back of the palate and can be overwhelmed by the fruit, so sip slowly.
