Pale in the glass. A soft, perfectly balanced Chardonnay with notes of ripe sour apple, and an elegant finish. Might have shown more complexity and depth a year ago but drinking well now- I wouldn’t wait long.

Pale gold color Medium aromas of yellow apples and curry leaf - rather muted Medium plus body with palate of sweet ripe golden apples and Bartlett pear - really intense and fruit driven Medium acidity and medium alcohol with moderate length Nice California Chardonnay - nicely balanced but has that fruit driven palate consistent with New World Would drink now

PnP. Initially somewhat acidic. After 30 minutes developed into a real interesting cross between Cali Chard and Chablis. Lots of ripe yellow apples with a little smoky oak and also a hint of almonds and herbs. A rather savory Chard that could age another few years. Really needs food. 91+

Blind tasting Pale gold, filtered Aromatics medium +. Yellow apple, yellow flowers after some time in the glass. Re-pour has an initial spice quality of curry leaf that is also noticed later. Palate has medium +, rich body. Acid medium to medium +. No phenolics. Alcohol medium. Ripe yellow apple and other yellow tree fruits like pear. Later a slight bitter quality on swallowing. Fruit driven Finish has medium + length. Balanced Dry glass notes of butterscotch. Initially, I guessed old world chardonnay, burgundy given acid. Fruit levels clearly suggest new world though! I have always liked what I call the curry leaf notes of a Santa Barbara Chardonnay which were evident over time Drink now.

Beautiful fruit expression, limited vanilla and oak in this nicely balanced well-made Chardonnay. Back to what Chardonnay should be in the US. Clean, crisp and tasty, with a medium finish.
