A bit sweet-tasting with apple blossom, apple, and honeysuckle aspects. Decent with food, and a good buy from garagiste, although I doubt I would have been as happy at full retail.

Paired with swordfish and a tomato, cuke, feta, parsley, red vinaigrette salad, and a side of quinoa/brown basmati millet. Absolutely delicious with all. Also had a 2014 Benoit Ente Mathilda Bourgogne with it. The Chardonnay stood up to the vinaigrette in the salad better than the Pinot did. I’ve also tasted this without food — really nice little table wine.

A mixture of steel and oak, with flowers and slight vanilla on the nose. Bigger mouthfeel but remains linear with well balanced acid. Nice texture from the oak with a long finish. I believe this winery has shutdown, too bad, good direction here.

For $16, it was fine (from Garagiste). Overall, too rich/opulent for my taste, which not enough to balance it out.
