It's been quite a while since the last bottle, and this has aged very well. In fact at this point it actually shows relatively young for a 12 year old bottle which promises additional years of bottle age potential. Excellent balance is the most impressive aspect of this easy going effort. Not cerebral but certainly pleasurable. The Drinking window on CT was way off - a testament to the age worthy character of white Rhony. Solid.

had with roast chicken -great effort, the little time in bottle has rounded the wine beautifully -good aromatics of tropical fruit and a full balanced mouth feel that is kept in check by a perfect amount of acidity to make it tasty and fresh. Left over still showed nice the next day (on Nitro)

Started off well pouring a youthful light yellow hue. Attractive nose of broad ripe fruits, nuts and almonds. Palate seemed relatively tight early but did display the typical citurs and nut mix. However, the wine got decidely 'dirtier' and looser as it warmed up. Pehaps a layer of brett or oxidisation; either way this wine started to look tired beyond its years.

The Wine Summit 2007: Torbreck Vintners - Friday, June 1, 2007 - afternoon (The Post Hotel - Lake Louise, AB): Is made up from 65% Marsanne and 35% Rousanne, Light straw colour – a pale gold hint; fresh scented floral aromas together with some peach; lively acidity and most refreshing on the palate; flavours include tree fruits, mostly peach, and some edge of pineapple, and an edge of almond. Nice finish and the acidity cleanses the palate.
