Great summer fair. Stone and earthy nose. No fruitiness here. Light and soft with a medium finish. Not to much tannins. This bottle is drinking very different from the first.

Was disappointed at first as the nose was a bit sharp although it had vanilla undertones. Upon first sip I was immersed in the smooth lingering berry laden taste. Rusty red tones, and long legs, with a delicious mouth feel. Very enjoyable. Glad to have 2 more bottles.

PINOT ON THE RIVER. bright red cherry fruit, dusty earth, and plum, more of the same on the palate, medium/big body, tasty but a touch simple, $35 winery retail and its worth it, long finish.
