We tried the 2017 Chardonnay at the same time. We prefer the 2017 by far. 2013 was the lowest record rainfall in California. Very very dry but cool. Well balanced wine, complex. hint of melons While it has hint of butter, it is not a butter bomb. There’s not too much oak, just right. The wine is a mouthful. A wonderful pale yellow color. Apparently, the wine is aged in controlled French oak barrels. This winery is very very high tech. This property traces its lineage back to probably the oldest vineyard in Napa.

A bit stewed. Not ruined, but not great.
