A bit acidic upon opening, but faded with a little time in the decanter. Nice nose of floral and red cherry notes. Good balance of fruit, acid, and minerality. Slight hints of chocolate as well. I will try to wait at least a year before opening my last remaining bottle since I think it will mellow out a bit more.

An inky pour that needed a few hours to breath. The nose is a perfume of azalea or other nectar my spring time flower. Still very tannic and will do nicely if cellared for a while. Give this wine five years and it will fully reveal the hints of dark fruit and earth it already teases you with.
