Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • (Tasted blind) Stony mineral nose with lots of diesel. Wow! Very dry with intense minerality reminiscent of dry Loire old-vine chenin. There is scarcely any fruit to be tasted here -- this is powerful, stony rock juice with occasional savory notes on the palate, finishing with crushed rocks and a hit of beeswax. Fascinating, and potentially brilliant but a little out of whack and showing some alc on the finish.
