  Still brimming with primary fruit. Very long. Deft use of oak and perfectly balanced. Lots of life left if you can keep your hands off.

  Nose of leather, dried cherries, blackberries, chalk, and red clay make up the noes of this pinot. The finish is ultra smooth with well placed tannins. This is a bold pinot and it is drinking well.

  It’s full. Thick. You can tell a cab producer makes this. There’s some black pepper, blackberry, lots of black fruit. It’s silky with faint tannin and goes down well.

  So plush, so fruity — not that I have any problem with that! Vivid, bright flavors of blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, basically all the big sweet berries. And it’s as if you can taste them all individually. Balanced, I wouldn’t say serious, but definitely glorious. Attention-grabbing. Nutmeg and chocolate, especially on the nose, nonetheless fruit-driven. Please drink this at cellar temperature.
