Really lovely dark-dark fruits- dried wild blueberry, figs, and dates. Hints of olive with a lamb ragu; on the finish, dark, unsweetened cocoa. Tannins muted, but hints of velvet coat the palate. Drinking wonderfully now.

Lacking acid. Has definitely passed its peak.

Savory and good mouth feel, bit tight requiring longer decanting - fruit is fading so do not wait much longer.

WCC US Syrah Blind (Provence Restaurant, Albany, NY): Nose of red fruit and cinnamon. Rich, complex, a somewhat different flavor profile. Very good.

Decanted for 35 - 40 minutes. Definitely needs it. Paired great with a bone-in pork loin chop. No detailed notes as it was consumed last night.
