In quite a good spot, still with good dark berry fruit but with some lovely savoury development, soft leather, some Middle Eastern spice, medium acidity, I’d like a little more tbh and a good long finish

Under screwcap. No signs of fatigue. Hints of sous bois, but also plenty of strawberry, primary fruit, spice. Fine acidity, good balance. Very loveable - interesting to see, what NZ can do.

Kirsche and some arrowroot on the nose, lovely soft marello cherry, wrapped around a tingling spine of acid and then hints of oak and spice - a well balanced pinot for Otago although perhaps the acid is poking out slightly - still very enjoyable and no rush

Medium red and clear. Remains fresh under screwcap. Bold fruit on nose - ripe cherry, some plum, a little blueberry. A hint of sous bois that blew off after opening, removes a bit of balance. Surprisingly fruit forward at this point - suggests some life remains.

Great colour. Elegant, yet restrained. Needs a few hours to open up. Strawberry jam. Savoury character. Slightly stemmy but not out of place. Well balanced. Wish I had more.
