Usually i dont like barossa nor shiraz. And of course the wine shows the round, fruity, amooth tendencies. But, it also has some structure and consequently good acidity. Quite pleasant nose, smooth yet peppery. All in all unexpectedly light, a good summer wine of good quality, reasonably long lasting.

Blind tasted. Blackberry, tobacco, black cherry, baking spice, green pepper, chocolate. Moderate alcohol, acidity. This didn't have enough obvious fruit to send me to New World, so my guesses were off. Nice wine though.

ripe pluumry-blackberry fruit and charred (heavily toasted) oak, balanced but ultimately... boring.

Lovely, sweet, juicy blackberry. Great mouthwatering acidity. A little light bodied, but there again it is a 2011. Very good.
