Wine comes across as jammy and overly extracted, unctuous even. Slightly hot especially on the back palate. We drank as a PnP but over three days. I'd put this down as a poor QPR wine. I won't buy it again. We had a 2012 Scarlet (McGah) opposite and it was significantly better

Right on the Fringe of a 90 to 91, ultimately we rounded down to a 90 because I just don't get the level of fruit one would expect from this kind of Cabernet. I find this fruit pushed red forward on the palette and just slightly hot. We decanted for two hours, and while the heat set down, the fruit never developed in the body as the nose would suggest. The nose is beautiful, with darker fruit saturation, some oak and nice mineral structure. The body has red fruit dominant (and after two hours some nuanced purple), camphor and new leather. The finish offers more dark fruit but fades in mouth watering tannins. Not sure how this will age, but an $80 wine? I don't think so. Poor QPR.

PnP; curiously spicy, backwards and thin. Meh.

Love it. Tight yet jammy. Must be decanted.

Needed time to open up. Nice fruit forward flavor. Not as complex as I thought it might be for the price point. I was a bit disappointed.
