  (Tets with Grace, Ads, Justina, Chintz, Lisa & Jordan) An incredible matador of a wine: a strong, tall, elegant, brash character. Inky black in the glass, with an overwhelming perfume of dark berries, warm sweet spices, patchouli incense, yet more smoke (pine-smoke and sweet tobacco), toasted hazelnuts, musky sweat and interestingly enough bringing back childhood memories of picking cherries on a hot summer's day. The huge personality continues on the palate with yet more smoke and dusty earth and elegant minty bitters, leather, caramel toffee, savory five-spice, lingering toasted sichuan peppercorns on the back palate, vanilla oak, and chockfuls of small dark berries. What an amazing force of personality - heady panache - yet still pleasant, vivid, confident, approachable and engaging (if perhaps abit over enthusiastic)! Nevertheless, this matched with calculated flair our Rack of Lamb with Sheep's Yoghurt and Kale, reeking of savory chicken's essense, toe-curlingly beautiful lamby unctiousness, oozing prawn shell stock and bowling me away gently.
