21 Grams Vertical: 2005-2016. (Home, Portland OR): 21 Grams Vertical: 2005-2016. A bit disappointed that this bottle didn't show better, considering how much I've loved 2009 wines in the past. Perhaps this one didn't have proper storage over it's life or something. Black cherry, a green, woody streak, but a bit too sweet and cloying compared to other vintages. Should probably be consumed near-term.

Better experience than last time. Bouquet fights to make its way to the rim of the glass. When it does red twizzlers and jolly ranchers complemented with a little wet soil and green twiggery emerge. No component of this wine is a stand out, though all are awake and at attention and contributing at their pay grade. Nice ruby color, gaining some transparency. Past its apex, but see a year or two of quality drinking time left

Wine is very smooth with very integrated fruit and a decent finish. I would be pissed off if I paid full retail for this bottle as the QPR on this wine sucks.

(21 Grams Red Wine Columbia Valley) From the first sniff, it is clear that this is a serious wine with floral notes, raspberries, cocoa powder, tobacco, herbal notes, and light green olive notes. The palate is full of cherry flavors with a firm backbone of tannins. Out of the gate the tannins can be a bit aggressive here but once they calm down this wine sings. Give a few years in the cellar or extended (extended) time in a decanter. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Cold Creek and Pepper Bridge vineyards. Aged in French oak (40% new).

Something seemed off. Tannic with a somewhat offensive, bitter finish.
