Mid palate fruit was much more reserved than the Cargasacchi-vineyard derived Siduri I had recently, but then again, the Cargasacchi was the most fruit forward PN I've ever had. This one had moderate acidity on the end, making it a little more of a food wine (paired very well with our lamb rack), but can easily be drunk on its own if you don't mind some acidity in your wine (for me, it has been an acquired taste, after drinking more Italian wines). Overall finesse was quite obvious. Value was just ok. Would not cellar any longer - I think it is beginning to wane.

Great wine, typical SLH profile. The fruit is that of strawberries, cranberries, and raspberries with a solid core of cinnamon, baking spices, caramel, and subtle mineral notes. Nicely balanced, acidity has tamed and is in check. Very refined right now with a nice long finish.

Dark garnet body and red-yellow on the rim. Drinking at its apogee. Black cherry, some blackberry, cinnamon, hints of sage, oak. Viscous in the mouth. Rich and intense fruit; somewhat powerful. Good balance. I'd say drink up. A nice pairing with rib-eye steak. Really nice wine in the cool pines outside of Prescott.

Fruit bomb but amazing. All dark cherry. Palate coating, low tannin.
