Retail $22. I was going to do the cop-out "consistent notes" thing here again, but re-reading my notes, a few things have changed. First, though she still likes this wine, I would hazard to guess that this is no longer one of my wife's "favorites." My mother-in-law, on the other hand, *loves* this wine as she likes her vino with a bit of sugar on it. While noticeable, it is far from cloying, and helps to balance out the powerful acidity. A bunch of fruit (mostly tree) with some minerality, and that classic petrol. Ten years out and while this is my last bottle, it is still going strong and would have likely held on for another decade. 91. thedrunkencyclist.com

It is really difficult to believe that it has been the better part of five years since I have tried this wine. Today, it is a bit darker, but that is really the only significant difference. Still plenty of petrol, yellow apple, and peach on the nose with a sweet (although far from unctuous), fruity, tart palate. Delightful. thedrunkencyclist.com

(NOTE: This tasting note refers to the 2013 vintage of this wine.) The old-world style Eroica Riesling has been around for years and the 2013 vintage lives up to its good reputation. This wine, pale yellow in color and clear in the glass has a clean, appealing aroma of pears and golden delicious apples. The flavor follows the aroma, with ripe apple and pear blending on the palate. Well balanced, crisp, but not overly acidic, with a slight stoniness present in the finish. Always recommended.

Fermented at aged in stainless steel. 12.5% alcohol. 1.64g/100ml Residual Sugar.

Another great bottle, opened for my mother-in-law, who loves a bit of sweetness in her wine. Consistent notes. thedrunkencyclist.com

Still very nice, but tinges of old age. Drink all that's in stock soon.
