Found this on the shelf of an out-of-the-way liquor store today.
Massive petrol & green apple on the nose.
The taste is muted, like trying to peek at your girlfriend while she's in the shower, but the shower glass door is fogged up. Petrol, green apple, lemon-lime, minerality, white peach, a smidge of honey & lilac with bracing acidity like biting into a granny smith apple.
Definitely past its prime. After drinking this, I realized I should taste a newer release of it so I can compare. The store also had a 2016 vintage - so I may have to grab that & see what's up.

Color: medium gold Smell: gear oil, diesel fuel, petroleum products (according to Wine Folly this is normal) Taste: smooth, off dry, medium minus body, light tannin, medium minus acidity Alcohol: 12%
Crisp and tasty. Hint of apple and lime taste - no hint of petroleum in the taste.

Bought one 5 months ago on closeout for 3--from a local drug store with a beverage license! Mid-gold; some petrol and bit of lemon-lime citrus on the nose that follow on the palate; very good mouthfeel; bit of persistence. Some decline but still enjoyable after 24h. This has been a reliable everyday WA-state Riesling for several vintages; hope the price isn't creeping up. Stored vertically (screwcap) in a cool, dark basement since purchase. My evaluation (see earlier posts for my 4-category, non-point rating system): This is notable+ when considering quality, age, and price.

Very good with Asian food (go figure) with a crisp mouthfeel and a good finish. Dry with just a hint of sweetness on the finish.
