  • Not much on the nose. Maybe little tangerine? On the palette a little lime. Not much else. Not your typical SB. Acidity was low and finish was short. Maybe past it's drinking window.

  • **
    Color: Pale straw
Nose: So fresh with apricot, melon and lemon
Taste: A delighful, florid combination of melon, peach, apple and a dash of fresh cut grass kept in check with balanced acidity.
This is a refreshingly harmonious SB compared to 2009. It is youthful, juicy yet balanced without any sharp bite on the finish. Drank at the winery, outside on a lovely July day sharing a picnic with my date. Subtract a point or two from my score depending on your locale/drinking companion.

  • On the nose, I found ripe tropical fruits, citrus and herbs. On the palates, it had a focused concentration of ripe citrus fruits and lots of brisk acidity to keep it fresh and very pleasant. The sour patch finish was long, long, long.
